New Website Provides Community Service for Design Engineers Interested in Upfront CFD

CARY, NC. – May 13, 2010:  A new web site for design engineers interested in implementing CFD early in the product development process has gone live at www.upfrontcfd.com.

The upfrontcfd.com site is a central source of information for design engineers exploring how to integrate CFD as an analysis tool in the early stages of their design work. Content will be developed and expanded as the site matures and will include case studies, technical papers, blogs from experienced upfront CFD practitioners, how-to videos, and contributions from the upfront CFD community.

 Visit www.upfrontcfd.com

“I think there is a need for a definitive resource where CAD professionals can learn how to implement CFD without having to be experts,” says Bob Cramblitt, principal of Cramblitt & Company and founding editor of the site.  “Before now, information has been scattered among different publications and vendors’ web sites.  This provides a depository for all information related to and impinging upon upfront CFD.”

The upfrontcfd.com site will be updated on a regular basis, and subscribers can receive RSS feeds and/or monthly e-newsletters to find out about the latest content.  The site is sponsored as a community service by Blue Ridge Numerics, makers of CFdesign software.
