Technical Support Engineer (CV)Ensure customer satisfaction by providing engineering related technical support to customers throughout all stages of CFdesign usage, including software usage, installation and technical implementation.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Respond to customers in a timely and effective manner
• Maintain customer support logs to record information about support calls and responses so that we can provide better and faster responses to similar inquiries as well as to be able to measure potential weakness in the product and/or documentation
• Organize, develop, and maintain technical information beneficial to our customers and engineering staff
• Provide feedback to product development and management regarding common issues that challenge customers
• Provide feedback to management regarding process and procedure that would enhance our customers’ experience with the Company and products
• Provide feedback to management regarding process and procedure that would enhance our operational efficiency or working environment to enhance our employees’ experience at Blue Ridge Numerics
• Grow personally and professionally
• Have fun!
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Working knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer
• Demonstrated proficiency with mechanical 3D MCAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, Pro/E, etc)
• Superior communication and teaming skills
• Ability to understand and meet customer expectations
• Ability to attend to detail, and manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Bachelor's Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or other relevant area
• Experience in CFD/FEA a plus but not required
• 1+years relevant work and/or internship experience a plus
